linked accountsLinked Accounts (alternate account access) is available for HCU Online Banking and HCU Automated Banking. It allows you to view multiple accounts you are an owner of, on one screen in the case of HCU Online Banking, or in one login in the case of HCU Automated Banking. It's the most convenient way to manage your multiple HCU accounts.

We offer three levels of alternate account access.  Depending upon account ownership and your access level, you can access other accounts from within your account to make your online banking more convenient at Heartland Credit Union.

Due to increased security measures, we have changed our alternate account access requests from an online signup application to a paper form requiring signatures.  Our primary concern is the safety and security of all member accounts at Heartland Credit Union.  All requests are verified by credit union staff.

Please print and return completed form(s) to any HCU branch or mail to: Hutchinson Credit Union, PO Box 1645 Hutchinson, KS 67504-1645.  Please allow four business days for processing.

eStatements take the place of paper statements and are electronic files in PDF format. Enrollment is simple. Next time you're in HCU Online Banking, simply click on the eStatements option to enroll. Once enrolled, you'll stop receiving paper statements.

You can switch back to paper statements and notices any time you like. But, once you try the convenience of the electronic versions, we don't think you'll ever want to switch back, as eStatements and eAlerts are more secure, faster, and easier to manage than paper.



HCU Connect Family of Services

As an added bonus, when you sign up for eStatements you automatically also receive eAlerts, which take the place of most paper Heartland Credit Union notices and offer you extensive customization capabilities for alerts on your account. For instance you might want to add a custom email alert that notifies you if your checking account goes below a minimum amount. Or, you might want an alert sent to your mobile phone when the primary email address on your account changes. Extensive options are available to let you produce an array of alerts, or just a few. It's your choice.

Our Bill Pay module is an easy-to-use online bill payment service that enables you to pay all of your bills directly from your HCU checking account. Some of the great features of HCU Bill Pay include:

Heartland Credit Union Online Bill Pay

Pay a person at a glance

What it is:

This convenient feature allows you to make person-to-person payments electronically to anyone you choose, such as a landlord, babysitter or relative.

How it works:

Choose the option that is best for you.

  • Provide the recipient's email address and a secure password of your choosing. The recipient then logs in to a secure site using that password and provides the required account information. A payment is deposited electronically from your account into their account.
  • Provide the recipient's bank routing number and deposit account information and a payment is sent electronically.
  • Provide the recipient's mailing address and a paper check will be mailed.

Why it's a new level of simplicity:

Sending money electronically is faster, more convenient and more secure than sending a check. And even when a paper check is necessary, online bill pay can save you time. That's because we mail your check directly to the recipient, which saves you a trip to the post office.

How to get started:

When you add a payee, simply choose to add an individual rather than a company or business.

GiftPay at a glance

What it is:

This helpful feature allows you to easily send a gift check or charitable donation from your online bill pay account.

How it works:

  • To send a gift check, choose a check design for the occasion and add a personalized message to the recipient.
  • Donation checks can be sent in memory or in appreciation of someone you wish to honor. You can also send a personalized email message to notify others of your donation.
  • We send the gift or donation check to the recipient. Funds are withdrawn when the check is cashed.

Why it's a new level of simplicity:

With GiftPay, you do not have to worry about stamps or trips to the post office. Plus, GiftPay gift checks cost less than most greeting cards but still offer a range of colorful designs to suit the occasion and the option for personalization.

How to get started:

Just add the name and address of the gift check recipient or charity. For donations, you can enter the charity of your choice or simply select from our broad list of popular charities.
