Heartland Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Dalton Estes to Assistant Branch Manager at its 23rd and Severance location. Estes brings nearly six years of hands-on experience across multiple roles, a deep commitment to member service, and a growing record of community involvement to his new position.
Estes’s connection to Heartland Credit Union stretches back to his high school years, when he served as a student intern at Heartland’s Salthawk Center location inside Hutchinson High School. After graduating, he joined Heartland full-time as a Teller, later advancing to Traveling Teller, and then Member Solution Specialist. In each role, he demonstrated the kind of reliability, adaptability, and genuine care for members that defines the Heartland Way.
“Dalton’s growth at HCU has been a natural reflection of who he is — someone who shows up consistently, puts members first, and leads by example,” said Amy White, VP of Retail Branch Operations.
We’re excited to see him take this next step and bring that same energy to his team at 23rd and Severance.
In his new role, Estes will partner with Senior Branch Manager, Marilyn Fisk, to lead day-to-day operations, support and develop branch staff, and continue building the strong member relationships Heartland is known for.
Beyond his branch responsibilities, Estes is currently participating in Heartland’s Building Leaders program, a professional development initiative designed to strengthen the credit union’s next generation of leaders. He also volunteers as part of Heartland’s Business Partners program with Wiley Elementary, where he visits third-grade classrooms monthly to lead financial literacy activities, read with students, and connect with the next generation of Hutchinson community members.
Outside of work, Estes is an 8U softball coach in the Hutchinson community and will earn his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management from Oklahoma State University this spring.
