Downs brings more than a decade of financial services experience to the role — starting as a member consultant and working her way up through branch leadership, home equity lending, and retail market management. That path has given her something that's hard to teach: a genuine understanding of what members need at every stage of their financial lives, and the skills to build teams that deliver it consistently.
A recognized rising leader in the Wichita banking community, Downs was featured in the Wichita Business Journal as a standout young professional in banking — a nod to both her early success and her commitment to the industry.
