Havener named Chief Lending Officer

Dan Springer, President and CEO of Heartland Credit Union, has named Jeff Havener as the Chief Lending Officer.
In his role, Havener will be responsible for the strategic direction of all HCU lending programs, including consumer, real estate, and commercial lending. This includes overseeing HCU's lending policies, processes, pricing and underwriting guidelines.
Havener comes to HCU with 30 years of experience in the financial industry including real estate, consumer and commercial lending, underwriting, compliance, and strategy. He most recently served as Senior Vice President/Chief Lending Officer at Allegiance Credit Union in Oklahoma City. Prior to that, he was the Senior Vice President/Chief Lending Officer at Columbia Credit Union in Vancouver, WA. Havener holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Linfield College in McMinnville, OR.
Jeff is a firm believer in giving back to the local community. His previous community involvement includes United Way, Make a Wish Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club, among others.
