Dan Springer, President and CEO of Heartland Credit Union is pleased to announce that Angie Mielke, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, has been promoted to Chief Strategy Officer and has joined the HCU executive team. 

Heartland Credit Union is proud to announce the promotion of Kevin Wiens to Vice President of Underwriting. In his new role, Wiens is responsible for overseeing the underwriting department including decisioning of direct and indirect loan applications, monitoring consumer loan portfolio performance, and cultivating relationships with automotive dealership partners.

As the year draws to a close and we prepare to celebrate the holiday season, I want to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable journey we've had at Heartland Credit Union in 2023. It has been a year filled with growth, community engagement, and opportunities.

Starting September 3, 2024, the Ave A, 23rd and Severance, East Kellogg, Haven, Maize, and Newton branches and our eBranch will operate under new hours. This change will create more consistency across our branch network, allow us to optimize branch and support staffing during peak hours to offer better service, and provide our team with a better work-life balance.

Ray Dilts, Gabrielle Emmons, Aiden Kendall, and Rebecca Schlosser have each been awarded $2,500 scholarships from Heartland Credit Union to help them pursue their dream of a college education.

Heartland Credit Union is proud to announce Bradley Ryan is joining the staff as Assistant Vice President of Business Intelligence. In this position, Ryan will play a pivotal role in utilizing data to develop innovative solutions and drive strategic decision-making to ensure we continue to meet our members' needs today and in the future.

Amy White, VP of Retail Branch Operations, is proud to announce Janeia Wren as the new Branch Manager for the HCU branch in Haven.

Heartland Credit Union is proud to announce the appointment of Melissa Pronk as the new Branch Manager at our East Kellogg location. 

At Heartland, the privacy and security of our member’s information is of utmost importance.  We take pride in having industry leading security and some of the best IT staff in the area to manage it.  Recently, one of our staff members was honored by the Wichita Business Journal as a leader in technology.
