HCU debit and credit card usage in Florida has been blocked
In effort to keep our members and their money secure, effective immediately, Heartland Credit Union has blocked all debit and credit card transactions over $200 in Florida due to a recent increase of fraudulent activity. This restriction only applies to cards that are present. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope you understand that protecting our members and their money is our priority.
For members visiting Florida, please notify HCU in advance of traveling to Florida.
Historically, HCU has taken significant measures to protect members, however, it’s important to remain diligent with all HCU and non-HCU accounts by verifying transactions and balances daily. These measures for your protection include restricting usage in select states, blocking usage in select countries (prior arrangements must be made), and active fraud monitoring for all HCU debit and credit cards.
